Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2017 Verified Purchase The media could not be loaded. I was sent this Tablet for review and I 100% love it for new artists. I am a full time artist so it did not suit my normal everyday needs. But for a gift, or if someone you know wants to become an artist it is a wonderful way to test the waters and learn digital art. It took me years to realize this is what I wanted to do and I did it all on a tablet a lot like this. You really can't go wrong. Images in this review Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2017 Verified Purchase Loved it, once I figured out that it's a little different from mouse actions. Then it only took a couple of hours of use to get very good with it. I thought it was defective out of the box because I didn't understand this at first: You basically hover OVER the pad to move the cursor, then touch the pad to left click. I was dragging the stylus tip across the pad, which seemed intuitive because that's how a mouse works, you move it on the table to move the cursor. But this is more like you hover the tip in the air, it kinda seems like magic. lol. you more or less move it in the air over the pad until you want to select or draw, then you touch the pad with the tip. This is a very good and inexpensive pen input stylus and pad. I'm not planning on being an artist making drawings, but did some drawings to get used to the pen. I had a pen input from a different company in the late 90s. years ago. I returned it. Back then these weren't really ready for prime time. I like this one. Still, it's alien compared to a mouse, since I've been a power computer user with a mouse daily since 1996, but I'm getting used to this. Main reasons I got it are: If you're an artist and have resisted these, this is cheap enough to give it a shot. And it worked out the box, didn't require much / any configuration. The one I had in the 90s did. Was 25 bucks on Amazon including paying extra for the three-year protection in case Bob the Cat eats it. Note: you basically hover above the pad to move the cursor, then touch the pad to left click. You can program the two buttons for different mouse actions too. (I programmed them to both be right click, since touching stylus is left click. If your computer doesn't have a CD drive for the included drivers, they're on the website of the manufacturer. So is a PDF of the short, good manual, which is good, because the included printed tablet is tiny type. The manual is available in a dozen languages. At least. One tip: also leave your mouse plugged in, at least while you get use to using a tablet if you're new to this. Bottom line: Great price, works well; what a time to be alive. Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2017 Verified Purchase Works on Linux's newer kernels just fine. I use GIMP, and it was immediately recognized. I have a double screen, and the tablet gets confused under "window" setting, but "screen" works just fine, and is the way I like to use a pad anyway. I disabled all the HUION devices except the "420 Pen," which is set to "screen". The configuration can be found in GIMP under edit/preferences/input devices/extended input devices, ...and also under edit/input devices. I was surprised to find that this "off" brand is more sensitive and just works better than my larger Wacom Bamboo tablet. If you're running a really, really old kernel, you may have to update it. Mint's "graphics tablet" setup did not recognize the tablet, but that is of no matter to me, so long as it works in GIMP and BLENDER, and it does. Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2018 Verified Purchase This is my first tablet and it's super easy to use and install. It comes with extra nibs but it does *not* comes with batteries (for the pen). You'll need to buy those separately. After a few months of drawing use, I do notice some scratches on the surface of the tablet, but that's to be expected because it's made out of a very light plastic material. One thing that I do not like, however, is that sometimes (not often) in the beginning of a stroke the pressure glitches out and the beginning of the stroke is just a black dot. I've attached a picture of what it looks like. To be fair, this doesn't happen *that* often and if you just make a few strokes it'll stop. Overall, it's a pretty decent tablet. I use it to draw and it's improved my experience by quite a bit. I think its a great deal for its price. So if you want a cheap tablet that works reasonably well, I think this is a good buy. 5.0 out of 5 stars Works pretty well This is my first tablet and it's super easy to use and install. Images in this review Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2017 Verified Purchase Tablet is a good size, and is highly responsive. The standard pen that it comes with is nice, as it has a little flared part at the bottom so your fingers don't slip off the pen. I like that. I also got the other pen that they have for this tablet which is nice since it's rechargeable. I use this to play OSU (a rhythm based game) and it works fantastically. You can adjust the sensitivity, disable the buttons on the side of the pen and everything. Good buy for the money. I love it. 5.0 out of 5 stars It takes time to get used to it, but it is great! Reviewed in Canada on June 3, 2019 Verified Purchase It is a really small tablet, would be good if you travel or just starting out, really easy to install the software, the pen is pretty good, I use it here and there for photoshop and it works perfectly, the only problem is that it takes some time to get used to it, but other than that, it is a really good starter or travel drawing tablet, 10/10 would recommend! 5.0 out of 5 stars Great first tablet for first time digital artist! Reviewed in Canada on August 12, 2018 Verified Purchase I am a beginner to digital art and thought this would be a great starter tablet. The price was so cheap, I decided to give it a try after an art youtuber tried it out. It's working great so far, I'm new to this but that's exactly why I'd recommend this to beginners. The size isn't really an issue surprisingly for drawing, at least not for me and that's where the low price comes from. The pen pressure is probably not like the top quality but very workable and I'm enjoying learning to use it. It came as described: with the cord, pen w/o battery, and with manuals and a CD/DVD install. If you're like me and don't have a CD/DVD port, you can just find it on their site in the download section for the product! I'm honestly really glad I found this, that trying to get into digital art doesn't have to be this crazy investment. If I stick to it, maybe I'll look for an upgrade as I get better, but for now this is great! 5.0 out of 5 stars Molto soddisfatto/ uso base Reviewed in Italy on October 11, 2018 Verified Purchase The media could not be loaded. I've been using it in photoshop since it arrived this morning and I'm impressed.
I was concerned that the active area may be too small but for me it's just right to use with my laptop and it's portable.
Like any tablet it takes some getting used to. It's well worth the money.

1. To save wear and tear on my wrists, since you don't have to click anything to select.
2. To do midi art music (drawing notes, then moving them around until they work well. I've done that with a mouse, and it's much easier with this.)

Light, portable, very sensitive, smooth panel to draw on
USB wire is in the top left when placed on its side (this is very annoying and impractical), I found the pen was a little bit thick (although it's great for its price), if you don't have the proper software (I'd recommend Manga Studio 5), drawing on the tablet for pictures is rather annoying.
